Further to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 6/KW.3.4.36. requesting a note pointing out which criticisms are serious, we suggest as follows:-

(1) Wind tone horns. We note that you have this matter in hand and await Messrs. Lucas' representative.

(2) Oil leak from pipe between air silencer and valve cover. We suggest an oil tight connection be used.

(3) Front engine dampers having insufficient clearance. (or insufficient restraint on limits of engine movement.) This is referred to in todays report.

(4) Loss of water. Increased load on overflow valve seems to be a cure. See todays report.

With reference to loose rivets in fan, these have already been tightened once, so we have not touched them again, so that they are available for your inspection and possible modification, if you would let us have another fan.

HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /GWH {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} /I.M Waller.

I Waller.
