OUR REF. JNL/KM

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. F. {Mr Friese} J. {Mr Johnson W.M.} Hardy.

We thank you for your letter of December 18th, reference Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /FJH. {Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} 9/AP, and are pleased to note that the experimental qualities of clutch servo discs S.5584 and S.5775 are promising.

I believe we have recently quoted you for ordinary RAD.13 for part No. 17177 and I am just wondering whether this particular quotation should not be altered to S.5775. Perhaps you will let us know.

We have put in hand a further quantity of the S.5584 type discs and these will be delivered to you within the next few days.

Yours faithfully,

FERODO LIMITED
J. {Mr Johnson W.M.} Mongley
Chief Chemist & Director.
