Proposed Watford...... E.W.6 (i.e. sleeveless type). 7.16. 0d

Price without 33-1/3% duty. .......... 5. 3. 1d.

Note: (In Roy {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} 4/MG29.8.27 to PJ, copy to yourself, etc. I advised the price of the Watford sleeveless EW6 machine as £8.10.0d, this being the figure put forward by Mr. North last week. In a communication since to hand from the Watford Co. they state they have been able to modify this figure to £7.16.0d.)

12-Cylinder Aero Magnetos.

B.T.H. ............ SC12/7 fully screened,
as used on FALCON(Aero Engine) XI..... £19. 5. 0d.
B.T.H. ............ SV12/A, fully screened,
as used on CONDOR(Aero Engine)...... 21. 0. 0d.
Scintilla. ........ GN12/D. ............... 13. 3. 4d.

Price without 33-1/3% duty .......... 7.17. 6d.

Note: (The Bosch GF.12 gives 4 sparks per revolution of the armature spindle).

The Scintilla and Bosch prices in each case include the 33-1/3% duty to which such supplies are now subjected whether they are used for Passenger Cars or Aero Engines. The second figures are the first figures less 25%, i.e. adding 33-1/3% duty to such second figures, we get the proposed selling price in this country.

Copies of communications from the Bosch and Scintilla Companies are attached - receipt of which I have acknowledged.
