To HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

We arrived here this evening.
The roads from Boulogne to Chartres were very treacherous being covered with frozen snow.
We have not had any serious trouble. The worst features being 50 MPH boom very bad when hot.
Oil temperature reached 100°c with air temp. zero.
Oil consumption is high.
Petrol 11.27 MPH.
Shock dampers.
Not sufficient difference between low and medium when riding.
