New Dunlop Tyre.

Referring to HOY/GEA.2/VR. {E. S. Voller - Orders} 24.1.34, I am sending you herewith the blueprint in question, and you will see that it does not show any particulars of a new tread but only gives a section through the tyre indicating that the tread width has been increased to the extent of about half an inch by scale, and that the effect is to create possibly one eighth inch more interference with lock on the extreme edge of the tread.

Would you please note EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} would like to see this print later on.

E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
