Re DUSENBERG.

Mr.Geoffrey Duveen called yesterday and showed me his new Dusenberg with 2-seater body.

He appears to be quite pleased with it, although incidently he told me he was going to order one of our new chassis himself as well as one for his wife.

He is a good friend of ours and he said he would be very pleased for any of our people to try this Dusenberg if we wanted to.
Would you like to arrange for Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to try it in a week or so's time? I understand he was told to run it in for 500 miles so that he has not driven it yet above 46 m.p.h.

Mr.Duveen says it has very quiet nice gears and good steering and there appears to be plenty of power.
In a week or so's time he will have done more than the 500 miles and the car can then be let out.

I believe this is the first Dusenberg on the road in England, although there are a couple at the Coachbuilders.

C.
