To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X4008 EFC2/T19.1.28. AUTO CHARGE CONTROL SWITCH. With regard to these on 10,000 mile test chassis, our decision is the following:- (1) On the Sports Car we wish to put on the auto charge switch, with the present standard NB. dynamo at present thereon. (2) On 12-EX we wish to put on an auto switch with a dynamo of increased output which we are preparing for the purpose. In view of the urgency of the Sports Car we hope you will be able to provide us with one of the two auto switches duly modified, as it will require a few hours' testing on the bench before putting on the car. This will supersede the instruction for putting NB. type dynamo I with EG.2. Morganite brushes on 12-EX (see EFC3/T21.12.27). We should therefore be pleased if you would have this machine returned to us. It will have its output still further increased and will come back to you, in due course, | ||
