FHR4/H111212 GRAND HOTEL DU CANADEL, Par le Lavandou, (VAR) Mr. Barrington C.J 14/12/12 11th December 1912. x15 Mr Johnson from F.H.R. for T.C. Re Dunlop Wire Wheels. I have not yet seen a drawing of the arrangement of hubs for these, i.e. the permanent hubs that have to go on our cars. I think you will like these wheels when the cone has been made slower as we have suggested. Every angle should be tried to see how slow it can be made before one meets other troubles. With reference to the breakage of spokes, I understand now that these are of very rare occurrence, and I am very much in favour of pushing on with the adoption of the Dunlop Detachable Wire Wheels and the manufacture of suitable hubs and brake drums to receive them by us.
