Re PHANTOM II CHASSIS FOR AMERICA.
-------------------------------

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has sent to me a list of the special points fitted on these chassis which were agreed to when the contract was placed, and to prevent misunderstandings at a later date, Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} should go over all these points on the L'ft hand chassis nearly ready for America, to see that they have been attended to.

BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} should make certain that all these special points are instructed, so that they are embodied in the production chassis we are now proceeding to make.

SFT.{Mr Swift} should study these points and make certain that before these chassis are put on test they have all been fitted.

As regards Wheels and Tyres, this still seems to be in an unsettled state and the last on this subject appears to be Es6/MJ.9.9.30, which indicates that there is another set of wheels on order for test in accordance with Oy's telegraphic request of 22nd August.

Also the question of clock and speedometer is still somewhat in abeyance. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has written to Mr. Beaver asking if they would like us to make an allowance for their non-supply if they prefer to supply their own.

Careful attention should be taken with the specification generally of this chassis, so that there will be no later discussion with America.
