Thanks for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.2.9.31. I should rather like to discuss when next at Derby the question of adjustability referred to.

By the way, you did not enclose the sketch referred to in the 5th. paragraph.

There is one point in my memo Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E31.8.31. to which you did not reply and that was whether it would be possible to supply 58-GN. with a pair of front hydraulic shock absorbers which would have similar damping characteristics to the back ones which were sent to me when I was away and thus do away with the necessity of Hartfords in front with the low rating springs.
