| 3500a FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.20.10.37. 35-EX. The servo squeaks on this car, something should be done about it. The engine is misfiring badly on A.{Mr Adams} ignition. We are wondering whether the misfiring is due to some of the plugs on 35-EX having got sooted up owing to the rich starting mixture. The starting with the modified choke spring is very much improved; in fact we think we should fit the same scheme to all P.III cars in the Experimental Dept. and see if any disadvantages result. The clutch is not good on 35-EX, and should be changed to Thermoid when opportunity occurs. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
