Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}11/AP.11.10.37. 300 a 35-EX. STEERING while the above car is in the Shop we wish to fit to the cross steering tube joints ball pads of bakelite material. For this purpose will you please fit the following:- (1) Adjustable cross steering tubes as on 32-EX. (2) Lower ball pads G.83415 in Bakelite. These parts we have handed to HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel} (3) Upper ball pads and washers to Ex.S.154/5. now being prepared by By/NS.{Norman Scott} We have handed bar material to WSC.{W. S. Cassel} (4) New standard ball pins with spherical surface polished. (5) Ball joint housings with part of bore into which ball pad Ex.S.154 fits polished. (6) Std. production springs G.85490.
