Dear Sirs,

Re: Bentley 3.B.5.

We thank you for your letter of the 25th.inst.

(1) We agree to the extra cost of this body of panelling the doors and boot lid{A. J. Lidsey} in aluminium, and providing aluminium wings; total amount being £4.15.0d.

(2) We agree to the use of solid stone shields instead of wire mesh.

(3) Remote control to the driver's door appears to us to be essential if we are to avoid the driver damaging his wrist on the steering wheel when slamming the door by means of interior handle. This is the only course available should the door fly open on the safety catch when the car is in motion. Such a fitting is provided on relatively cheap cars.

(4) With respect to the hinge pins we agree to your suggestion ( see our letter BY.24/N.27.10.38) re 2.B.50.

(5) Screen flap ) see our letter BY.24/N.27.10.38 re 2.B.50).
