TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}!

RE. 2.B.4.

We thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Kt.2./13.2.34. re the above car. As we have seen none of the correspondence concerning the burnt out body we have done nothing in the matter. We understood that it was being dealt with by C. Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} and Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

Unofficially I learn that there has been considerable argument and that a definite estimate has not yet been received.

My personal verdict is that the body will cost more to repair than a new one. The latter can be had for £250.

I believe that you may here from "S" tonight.
