LES ANDRÉ DUBONNET 33, RUE DES GRAVIERS (114, BOULEVARD MAURICE-BARRÈS) NEUILLY TÉL. MAILLOT 19-39 34-44 x3873 Neuilly, 10th July 1934 ROLLS-ROYCE Limited D E R B Y Gentlemen, Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.12/KW. Exptl.Dept. I am in receipt of your letter of July 6th and I wish to inform you that I have not yet made a test using the modification regarding variable flexibility. It is my intention to equip your car with this new system. As you have suggested, I shall fit in the same box a simple linkage as I first proposed to you. In this way you can make comparative tests and try the suspension either with linkage with constant flexibility or with the linkage system with variable flexibility. As I have already said, there has been arranged on the housing box itself a support on which you can later fit an arm for the brake reaction. This modification to the linkage does not affect the parts being made by you. Yours faithfully A Dubonnet | ||
