Enclosed Limousine 18-G4 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL2/WJ14.7.30 On March the 18th last we saw EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and then suggested to him that the lamps should be chromium finish rather than Black. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} agreed and we confirmed his agreement in Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}/Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}5/ED{J. L. Edwards}1.19.3.30 copy of which we sent to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} On the same day we arranged with Lucas to send Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} - (1) A pair of chromium plated P.80 headlamps each with a supplementary bulb. (2) Hand switch for the secondary bulbs. (3) chromium plated tail lamp. and with Butlers to send Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} - (4) Two-way foot switch. (5) F.W.B. stop lamp. Will you please have these traced. To complete the outfit we have asked Lucas to send Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} a pair of chromium plated Alvis type wing lamps and centre lamp; also a Tandem wiper. In addition we have given instructions to Lillie Hall to send Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} a Homa dash lamp. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} On the assumption that you will prefer not to use Butler's foot switch which is now obsolete, we have told Lillie Hall to send with the dash lamp, a Bosch foot switch.
