RE DISTRIBUTION BOARD FOR 40/50 H.P.CHASSIS.

(handwritten: Z1925)

We send you herewith drawing No.Lec.1107 shewing the above. Would you please put in hand the necessary details for making the experimental models.

The cut-out shewn in the scheme is the Lucas model, and should be bought from Messrs. Lucas after they have made the necessary alterations to make it suitable for our distribution board, which consist of making the base with four tapped holes for fixing studs and leaving the connections of a suitable length and without terminals.

We have already sent you particulars of two small pressings in sheet-metal that are required for the terminals on this job.

You will note that with the scheme of terminal we have used, the conductor has nothing soldered or fixed to it, but merely has its end cleaned up, bent into a hook and dropped into the sheet metal box provided.

We expect to send you at a later date a scheme for the switchboard mounted on the instrument board, and for the battery junction box mounted on the frame.
