Jenner}2/HP.18.11.35. re 25-29 Petrol System. File Please receive herewith:- Lec.4809 showing the petrol pump arranged on the offside u/c of the dashboard just above the steering column. With this scheme the petrol pipe would be moved over to the otherside of the chassis to get away from the exhaust system. There will be no petrol tap for the reserve. A green warning light device will be fitted. We are putting the petrol filter on the second crossmember. The above is a new departure from the present 20/25 arrangement, the object being of course to minimise the length of pipe and to keep the fuel lines as cool as possible. E/JNR.{Charles L.
