Accident to B.23.AE.

While I was driving B.23AE car (AUL.1) at Brailsford on the 28th instant, a collision between the car and a pedestrian occurred.

The following are the answers to the official list of questions attached :-

(1) Bentley - 30 HP.

(2) B.23.AE - AUL.1.

(3) October 28th, 1936, 10.45 a.m.

(4) October 28th, 1936 - S.Dean, Experimental Tester, Check No.2330.

(5) Brailsford, Main Asbourne Road.

(6) An old man crossing the road at an angle did not look about before crossing and when I sounded the horns began to trot across. At the time I blew the horns I braked and pulled the front of the car on to the near side pavement and just as the car was coming to rest the man appeared to drop on to the off side front wing.

(7) Yes.

(8) Approximately 2 ft.
