Description of Parts. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION OF POSITIVE END OF CUTOUT SHUNT COIL TO DYNAMO TERMINAL C, INSTEAD OF B.
Origin. To avoid possibility of over-voltage on shunt Coil if main dynamo fuse is removed or fails.

Experimental Test Report.
We have established experimentally that this method of connection is also better than standard from the point of view of destruction of cutout contact points. Detailed reasons and observations are contained in our notes EFC4/T 16.5.28.

Road Test Report.
Run 8000 miles on 11G3.
" 7000 " " 8-EX.
" 12500 " " 14-EX.
No trouble, and cutout contact points all in good condition.
