X 4383 EFC. BY5-P2.4.24. DYNAMO. 43.G3. JOHNSTONE. Referring to the Dynamo returned from the above chassis by EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s Inspector, apparently the failure is due to same running too hot. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}'s Inspector points out that the three brush holders were quite loose and poor off the machine, so that there would be poor contact between the holder and the connections of the coils, which would be, no doubt, a sufficient cause to account for the trouble. Would you kindly send along to my office for the machine in question and let me know whether you consider the appearance of the machine is in accordance with the foregoing. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
