Headers 1158 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}S/GH.2.5.40. 2nd May 1940. Messrs. Klaxons Ltd., 201, Holland Park Avenue, LONDON W.11. Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. GENTRY. -------------------------------- We have received the N.Z. electric motor which you recently sent us, and this appears to be satisfactory. We find on referring to our letter of the 2nd. February that we requested you to send us four motors altogether, and we should be very glad if you could let us have these other instruments. A modification which we should like to incorporate either inside the motor or externally has a small resistance which will cut the motor speed by 50%, and we should be very interested to hear whether such a modification could be easily accommodated, if so we should very much like it on our three remaining motors. We donot as yet appear to have received any cost figures from you, and we should very much like to have these at the earliest possible date. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
