Dear Sirs,

Your letter of the 20th instant, addressed to the City and Guilds of London Institute, has been passed along to me and, with reference thereto, I have mentioned the vacancy in your Experiments Department to Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Mansion, who can be recommended as suitable for a similar post.

Mr. Mansion was educated at Merchant Taylors' School, London. He took the full Course in Technical Engineering and Motive Power, and was awarded the College Diploma of Associate of the City & Guilds of London Institute (A.C.G.I.) and, on the results of a further Post-Graduate Course, he was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Imperial College of Science and Technology (D.I.C.) He has also obtained the M.Sc. Degree in Engineering of the University of London. Mr. Mansion has had three years Research experience in Heat Transmission, two years of which he was Research Assistant to Professor C. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Lander, C.B.E.,D.Sc.,M.Inst.C.E.,M.I.Mech.E. - Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Motive Power at this College

At the end of his Course he had eighteen months experience as a Student Apprentice with Messrs. C. A.{Mr Adams} Parsons, Newcastle-on-Tyne.
