petrol tap can be dispensed with entirely. We think this proposal is well worth following up and we should be glad if Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. would approach the instrument makers with a view to seeing what can be done to incorporate the necessary light and contact experimentally in the petrol level indicator.

With regard to the petrol pump for SpectreCodename for Phantom III, the S.U.Co. are distinctly hopeful that as a result of experiments which they have in hand the Bentley size of electric pump can be made to deliver the required output for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III, and we have put in hand a scheme to use this size of pump combined with the filter and mounted on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III dash.
