For the attention of Mr. W.A.Robotham. Experimental Dept. Dear Sirs, Following your favour of May 30th and the writer's visit to you to-day, we beg to confirm the verbal arrangement made that we are making you up two discs with our standard number of layers of fabric, which we shall submit free of charge addressed to Mr. W.A.Robotham in due course. When you receive these you will note that one has a large letter "A" upon it and the other letter "B". As this is for experimental work and not for production, we have taken the liberty of varying in the one case the usual proofing. As you will doubtlessly be keeping track of both these two discs, we hope you will in due course advise us as to the results of the tests upon both under each letter. We also confirm that you will in due course advise us whether it is possible for you to accommodate a disc of 1/4" thickness instead of 11/16", in which case we would then make up experimental discs with the 24 layers as you have always had previously but 1/4" thick instead of 11/16". Yours faithfully, For & on behalf of HARDY SPICER & Co. LIMITED. Edward. J Hardy | ||
