[Handwritten]: X.4145 RE STANDARDISATION SHEETS. [Handwritten]: X.3699 --------------------------- Please note that the following standardisation sheets have been fully signed up:- (1) Chassis. New type serrated magneto drive. X number 3699. drawing number N.2142. (2) Eagle Aero Engine. Improved type cylinder Jacket. X number 4145. drawing number E.19455. In regard to item (1) we should arrange to put this into force for Series "P". In regard to item (2) Aero engine cylinder jacket, this must be adopted for all future Eagle engines, as we do not appear to have had trouble with the Falcon and nothing has been stated with reference to this engine, I consider that unless you hear further from me no modification should be made from the existing type.
