re. PHANTOM SWITCHBOX X8730 X8791

With a view to adapting the Phantom switch-box to run on battery and magneto ignition with no charge, I am proposing that the magneto should be on all the time except for the zero position. The switchbox markings will then appear as follows:-

--- M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} & C. Object: to test if magneto ignition OK.
--- M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} B. & C. Object: both ignitions & charge.
--- M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} & B. Object: both ignitions but no charge.

X8791

This alteration can be accomplished very easily I believe, merely shortening the magneto switch. The idea is also to provide a separate small switch for earthing the magneto, with the object that the battery ignition can be tested.
