re PRODUCTION BENTLEY CHASSIS
-----------------------------

We have today carried through the acceptance test of the first production chassis!

From the running point of view the chassis is generally satisfactory - in fact it gives one a very favourable impression compared with such Experimental Bentley cars as I have been able to try.

There are several modifications yet to be carried out. These, however, are not essential from a coachbuilding point of view, and, subject to these being carried out when the car returns to the Works for the final car test as arranged, and to our final inspection of the chassis which we are now carrying out, we should be in a position to ask Sales for delivery instructions tomorrow, the 22nd inst.
