RESULTS OF FURTHER BROOKLANDS TEST (SEPT. 8th 1936).

All tests with bonnet shutters open.

Condition of test (all full speed approx. 88 MPH) | Critical air temperature.

Car as standard (but no radiator shutters) | 23.5
Car as standard except that spot light in front of radiator was removed (but no radiator shutters) | 25.5
Car as standard except that (1) spot light (2) head lamps and (3) horns were removed (but no radiator shutters). | 23.5
Car as standard except that (1) spot light (2) head lamps (3) horns (4) bumper bar and number plate and (5) front suspension shield, were removed. (but no radiator shutters.) | 25.5
Car as standard, but with bonnet shutters closed (but no radiator shutters). | 21.5
