Piston failure.
New castings made to LeC.2030 have been instructed for all cars.

Engine support tubes bending.
New support arm to LeC.2027 has been instructed for all cars.

Front spring failures.
These are similar springs to those which completed 10,000 miles on 40/50. No modifications have yet been instructed.

Radiator - loss of water.
Modification to the radiator inlet has been instructed for all cars. This has been tested out in France and found to have definitely overcome the trouble.

Radiator shutters sticking.
The shutters have been given more clearance at the bottom to avoid them becoming jammed with mud and dirt. Instructed for all cars.

Exhaust cutout sticking.
New scheme with extension spring to close cutout instead of torsion spring has been instructed for all cars.

Choke valve in exhaust pipe sticking.
Modifications to valve and spindle have been instructed for all cars.

XXXXXXXX Exhaust pipes scaling and burning.
If we leave the lagging off the exhaust pipes we get more noise from the exhaust and more heat under the bonnet. These pipes have been instructed to be calorized to prevent scaling. We are also running cars without lagging.

Exhaust fish tail badly opened out.
The fish tail instructed for production is made of thicker gauge material and 4 vertical stiffening bars instead of 2.

Lagging of front silencer broken away.
The number of bands holding the lagging has been increased.

The two clamping bolts on the steering box suspension bracket came loose.
A solid bracket without clamping holes has been instructed for all cars.
