[Handwritten] LID{A. J. Lidsey} See me 87960. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Stamp] RECEIVED OCT 27 [Typed] To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 58-GN. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}16/E26.10.31 Referring to the attached memo. you will remember that one of the points in regard to this car before I sent it to Derby was the squeak, which I described as a "canary" type noise which occurs practically whenever the car is driven from cold. I am sorry to say that this noise is still present although in a less accentuated form. I am afraid I shall have to send it to N. at the first convenient opportunity for them to have another try.
