Trot Salt - Carburation}1/JMS., dated 9.5.40. We can do the special grinding on the three sizes of split skirt piston you are preparing. Will you, therefore, please supply these, finished up to that stage. Please note that the split should be left so that it does not quite run out at the bottom of the skirt. It will help us if you can give a tentative date for delivery of the complete batch of 40 pistons. We would like them all at once, so that the works can do the grinding at one set up.
