Green-Lamp Switch and Dynamo Tests.

Some tests have recently been made on car 20EX, the objects being to check the performance of the green-lamp switch, and to try the effect on the output of the dynamo, of running the engine backwards.

The tests were made with the car standing.

Green-lamp switch. (SS{S. Smith}3)

With the switch in a warm condition, the volts required to operate it, measured between terminal B on the distribution board and earth, were,

First test. 16.95 volts.
Second test. 17.00 "
