Smith}2) The peak output of the dynamo, (running on magneto only) was observed to be 12.0 amperes, at 16.8 volts, and at a temperature of between 45 and 55°C. The volts were measured between terminal B on the distribution board and earth. After running the engine backwards, the peak output was observed to be, 11.75 amperes at 16.5 volts; i.e. there was practically no difference in the output, showing that brush bedding had not been affected.
