I think the nearest and quickest way to find
out the best valve steel is to test valves in an engine on
the gx test bed.

I understand the steels suggested are Firth's
(Nickel-Chrome-Tungsten) K.K. ditto, and present E.L.V.

If they all stand I suggest that the sections
of the head be made lighter until they overheat or stretch.

Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} get this done without delay, and so
dispose of a matter that is costing money in time and thought
etc.
