To-ER. from HDY.{William Hardy} C - to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Des-IMS. +326 HDY.{William Hardy}1/HP.2.9.35. SECRET. SpectreCodename for Phantom III Gearbox. To determine whether any improvement can be made in silence by removing the gearbox support partially or wholly from the cross in the frame, we are sending designs for temporary supports for the box. We send herewith N. Sch.4614 which shews a two point rear end suspension. The main scheme shows the box suspended on 20/25 engine front end rubberd but these can be readily changed for the existing SpectreCodename for Phantom III gearbox rubbers for the sake of uniformity as regards this feature when determining the value of the new suspension as a whole. Designs for the front end suspension will follow. HDY.{William Hardy} N.Sch.4614. | ||
