| - 2 - Is it possible for you to (a) produce such a plate? (b) if not, who would be the best person to consult on the subject? I believe there is going to be quite a demand for thinner plate, not only for petrol tanks but for exhaust systems and other parts where corrosion is of primary importance. It is possible that there is some type of sheet other than the lead coated sheet, of which I know nothing, and if this is so I should be glad if you could let me have particulars of it. By the way, if the administration should be sufficiently broadminded to agree to us letting you have one of our new type cars, which would have been in production had it not been for the war, would you (a) be interested; (b) have enough money to buy it without demanding an outrageous price for your present car? Yours sincerely, | ||
