If it is anticipated that we shall be selling to Springfield, or Springfield will be producing the SS.{S. Smith} car we strongly recommend that we send one of these cars to U.S.A. to be tested out under their conditions.

We have got to remember that it was chiefly American conditions which forced us into exhaust heating for the induction system in conjunction with the choke valve in the exhaust.

We should not like to guarantee that the SS.{S. Smith} car is going to satisfy American conditions until the car has been tried out there.

To prove this, we do not think it is necessary to wait for a left-hand chassis. It would not be wise to wait for a lef-thand chassis. It would be better if we could send one of the SS.{S. Smith} experimental cars so that it could be tried there during this Winter.
