BENTLEY CHASSIS - RE: DAMPING BRAKE ON DYNAMO PINION.
----------------------------------------------------

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}13/MA.25.8.33. I find that the con-
dition of affairs outlined in your memo is due to the fact that E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
Department had their minds upon clearing up the Bentley chassis for
production and overlooked instructing the new parts to the Experimental
Department. They had, however, modified the part lists, and these
should have made it clear that special parts were required for the
Bentley. We admit the error which occurred due to pressure of work,
and we will try and prevent it recurring.

I have instructed our people to put it right by issuing
the parts to the Experimental Department without delay.
