12th., August 1932.

Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Lidsey.

With reference to the writer's visit to your works yesterday, in connection with the D.W.S.Jacks fitted to the test car which has now returned from the Continent.

We gather that the jacks behaved satisfactorily in the main, but that more ground clearance is necessary to prevent sand-blasting and damage, which is evident on the jacks themselves.

We are glad to have the opportunity of supplying a further set of jacks of the latest pattern, which will completely overcome the defects brought to light during the tests.

We hope to have this set ready in a month's time, and should it entirely meet with your approval, we shall look forward to obtaining Rolls Royce official recommendation, and, at some future date, becoming part of the standard equipment of the car.

With many thanks for the interest you have already shown in the D.W.S. Jack, we remain,

Yours faithfully,

For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LTD.

Donaldu Sessions
Managing Director.
