| Senior Staff mess R.A.E. 17th November 1935 Dear Mr Robotham From the pure drag point of view I would make the following criticisms of the blue print you sent me on the 8th inst. (i) The sweep up of the tail makes a bad expansion on the bottom surface. Having regard to the necessarily poor shape of the passage between the car bottom & the road, I think that any expansion of this passage at the rear is to be avoided.
