Dear Mr Robotham

From the pure drag point of view I would make the following criticisms of the blue print you sent me on the 8th inst.

(i) The sweep up of the tail makes a bad expansion on the bottom surface. Having regard to the necessarily poor shape of the passage between the car bottom & the road, I think that any expansion of this passage at the rear is to be avoided. If on the other hand you are to restrict the expansion on the upper surface to reasonable limits & avoid the lower expansion a lengthening of the tail would be
