| W/S - Bly.{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}7/KW.28.11.34. Percy W. Lee, Esq. Many thanks for Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales}/6R.27.11.34. with reference to this customer. Incidentally I committed a faux pas by addressing this gentleman as if he had been knighted, I discovered that I was misinformed. Will you therefore please address him as Percy Lee, Esq. in future. I spoke to him on the 'phone this morning and he is willing to try Rippon's car. He does want to drive himself, however, as he has previously had a demonstration from a gentleman whose sole object was to run up to maximum revs, on every gear, whereas Mr. Lee is much more interested in a good average speed with the maximum amount of silence and comfort. I asked him to ring up Rippons and tell them this, so that they will know whom to send with the car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
