Attached is a report from Dodd on work that was carried out on 32-EX. at the conclusion of my run.

It looks as if we shall have to cut down the sideways clearance of the shackles of the rear springs to the minimum. The .016" clearance made an impossible amount of noise.

The brake drums fouling the frame seems to be serious.

Can the accessibility of the rubber pad be improved?

It is distressing to observe that we are still getting leaks between the shock absorber joint and the frame, particularly as it was demonstrated on this car that with one shock absorber out of action the steering became very bad.

With regard to the propellor shaft, we should like to have a design for the Ph.III on exactly the same lines as the Hardy Spicer. The Hardy Spicer has now run two 15,000 miles tests and given complete satisfaction. There is one fitted to B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} which is 4 lbs. lighter than the original shaft, and Hancock is very pleased with its behaviour.
