They appear to me to give ample accommodation along the lines you indicated.

Pasted on top of the two designs referred to under the last heading, is the four door six light saloon type of body, again in the two forms, with and without a boot, but otherwise having dimensions exactly similar to those shown on the main drawing.

Dealing now with PD.66, this shows as mentioned above the original Derby project for giving a certain amount of interchangeability between Bentley lll and Bentley 50, and furthermore how the changes in question would be applied to a car with a Rolls-Royce radiator produced under the name of RR.50. Against each of these projects on PD.66 estimated dates as to when chassis would be available have been given, similar dates apply to the body down on PD.80.

Would you be good enough to give this matter your consideration as at early a date as possible, as we are anxious to stabilise a programme, and are only waiting for this purpose Sales decision as to which types of body we shall produce.

I am assuming, as a result of the discussions that you will select the B.50 body shown on PD.80 and the RR.50 body shown on PD.66.

If, however, you are still not satisfied with the projects as outlined, and will let us have your criticisms we will endeavour to clear the matter up along lines considered suitable to Sales requirements, as obviously the question of the type of body which will be saleable is essentially a decision which must be made from Sales' side.
