This gives us a definite line of action to follow. Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has a copy of Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s memo already, and I have intimated that this is the most urgent job we have in hand, as it is most important now we have some definite scheme to produce the two 'mock-ups' called for as quickly as possible. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has confirmed that the bodies are steel, not composite, and they follow Ward's general principle of construction. The 'mock-ups' are separate, one being to enable body room to be tested and criticised, the other being to settle front appearance. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
