Rolls-Royce Limited. DERBY. FB.2206 - Adjusting Bellows for Filler Tube. Dear Sirs, We must apologise for the delay in replying to your letter of May 8th. We find that in order to increase the angular deflection it is necessary to increase, not decrease, the number of convolutions. We are sending you a sample which is bent approximately to the correct angle and which will bend a little further if required. With regard to the diameter of the tube we can make this 2.500" with suitable limits, but to enable us to do this it will be necessary to make up tools costing approximately £15.0.0d. Will you be good enough to let us have your comments on the sample which we are sending and let us know what are your wishes. Yours truly, THE PACKLESS GLAND CO. LTD. W. Martin-Hurst. Director.
