CONT'D MATTERS ARISING OUT OF MINUTES - JAN: 18/33. Worl/GR.{George Ratcliffe}24.5.33. MINUTE 22. CRANKSHAFTS IN V.C.M. STEEL. PRESENT POSITION. This matter is under discussion with Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} and Mr. Dickenson of the English Steel Corporation. MINUTE 23. 2 ENGINES TO RUN at 1000 H.P. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} states "Kestrel Engines Nos. 25 & 27 are still being used for over-load tests up to 1,000 H.P. Exp.IV. new engine is still waiting for new cylinders. Tests are being carried out on the Single Cylinder Unit to improve the valves and valve seats." MINUTE 29. COOLING SYSTEM WARNING DEVICE. LR.{Mr Ellor} reports that this matter is still up to the Ministry and we do not seem able to get any decision in spite of persistent enquiries. | ||
