306. Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} (For Depot Sheet). Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}3/R.14.4.37. P.III BRAKES. Seizures of the bell crank levers on the rear carrier plates of P.III have occurred on customers cars. Any further cases of this should be dealt with by protecting the bearings with leather washers, shown on N. Sch. 4778, which have been standardised for production. The conversion is inexpensive if the present bell-crank levers G.83965/6 are machined down to G.84500/1. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
