I attach copy of a note received from RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, which is self-explanatory.

Will you kindly consider this as early as possible with all concerned, to see what is the best thing to do?

It is a very serious matter going to all this expense with Phantom II, and if we can do anything to reduce it it seems very essential.

You will see that, generally, RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} is quite satisfied with Firth's prices, and considers that, after a careful examination of their books, everything is in our favour and their prices are most reasonable.

Referring to the last paragraph, will Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} arrange to pay something on account of this £6,000, it seems quite wrong for Firth's to have to wait for the money until we have made up our minds as to exactly what we want, especially as RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} confirms that their prices are reasonable.
