When it is necessary for us to overhaul Bentley cars or replace bearings which have not given satisfactory service, I am definitely of the opinion that we should introduce Hall's metal for the bearings in place of white metal. This is particularly important in my opinion, where we have customers who, owing to their method of driving, create trouble with the bearings rather quickly, as Hall's metal used under these circumstances should prevent a recurrence of the complaint.
